Consorzio Lavoro Ambiente Admin 18 July 2025

Why Consorzio Lavoro Ambiente chose Interzen's ZenE-Orders to digitize orders to the Public Administration. Order generation, transmission to the NSO/PEPPOL, processing, notification, and dispatch to PEPPOL: automation of the entire sales order cycle received from the Public Administration.

Consorzio

Consorzio Lavoro Ambiente promotes a business model inspired by the principles and values of cooperation, in which competitiveness and professionalism place people at the center. Its history began in 1987, when several cooperatives operating in the Province of Trento, under the patronage of the Trentino Federation of Cooperation, formed a second-level consortium with the aim of offering innovative and concrete solutions to the needs of the local area. The initiative aimed to leverage the expertise of member companies, while fostering synergies and collaborations capable of providing integrated solutions to the complex needs of the market and the community.
Initially, the Consortium focused primarily on the restoration and protection of environmental assets, including through the employment of workers engaged in professional reintegration programs. With the gradual entry of new cooperatives, the Consortium expanded its offerings over time, extending its services to include greenery maintenance, construction, reception and front office, facilities management, waste management, logistics, and catering.
Today it brings together 35 cooperatives, operating beyond the provincial boundaries, and is a leading force in its various fields of intervention, generating employment for thousands of people and an annual turnover of over 300 million euros.
The mission is based on a twofold objective: to support growth and collaboration among member cooperatives, enhancing skills and organizational and technological innovation; to offer competitive and sustainable solutions to the needs of contemporary society, creating value and opportunities for the Trentino region and promoting its best practices beyond the regional borders.

Need

As a supplier to the National Health Service (SSN), starting February 1, 2020, it became mandatory to send purchase orders for goods, such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices, exclusively through the Order Sorting Node (NSO).
For Consorzio Lavoro Ambiente, in addition to the legal requirement, order management had become complex not only due to the volume of orders handled daily but also due to the complex process each order entailed. This resulted in an excessive investment of time and resources and, above all, a high risk of errors and delays in order fulfillment.
Sending the delivery note to the customer promptly via the PEPPOL network to properly close the sales process had become a priority.
